I graduated from the Jansen Newman Institute (JNI) Sydney in 2006. I started Relationship Help a year later, to help couples and families create more connections in their relationships. I have also attended various workshops and training to extend my knowledge, including Gottman Training (levels 1 & 2), Imago Relationship Therapy, The Art of Relationship Counselling (Interelate Family Centres) and Transactional Analysis.
Until recently, I was a Couple & Family counsellor with Relationships Australia based in the city. I have also worked for various agencies, including Catholic Care, St. John of God Hospital (Burwood), The Benevolent Society and Baby & Beyond Parental Counselling.
I have been married for over 25 years now, with 4 children, and continue to grow and learn from this relationship. My wife and I still have arguments, often over repeating issues, so I can empathise with my clients on how frustrating this can be. Relationships are complex and learning to navigate through this maze can be challenging. My own personal experiences are often my most useful guides on this journey.
